CW President Gives Hope

The CW president Dawn Ostroff wants One Tree Hill fans to keep their heads up regarding the renewal of the show.

When asked about a renewal for OTH, she says it's "too early too tell, but creatively we feel the show is in a really good place."

She also spoke about how dedicated the fans are, "We're encouraged. We think [creator] Mark Schwahn has done a great job with the show. The fans are the most loyal and dedicated I think I've ever seen. They have some 1.6 million fans on Facebook."

Help Save OTH!

It's not an unfamiliar situation for One Tree Hill fans to be worried of the show they love being cancelled. It's happened every season since the show went on the air, and of course this year is no different.

Last year, the CW announced One Tree Hill as an early renewal, the only time in show history. Fans were hoping for the same this year, but that did not happen.

Every season the fans have fought hard to make the CW powers-that-be see OTH is a show worth keeping. This season they are at it again by sending emails, making calls, and writing letters.

OTH in Utah Confirmed!

There have been a lot of questions as to where OTH will be filming the finale, and we have all the answers for you!

It has been confirmed to OTHfans.com that the cast and crew will be filming the last episode of season 7 (and possibly the series) in Park City, Utah. The CW has not decided if they will pick up the show for an 8th season, so this could be the last chance to meet the cast. If you can make the trip and you want to meet them, take this opportunity! It may not come again.

We hear from sources in Utah that the show will be filming on the ski slopes, around Park City, and more specific, the Egyptian Theatre on Wednesday.

Good luck to all fans that make the trip to Park City.

Save OTH! An Online Petition is Underway!

An Official Online Petition is underway to target the CW Network to encourage them to renew One Tree Hill for an 8th Season. WECT in Wilmington recently verified the petition, and has an article with a link to the official petition HERE. The petition link is the right of the article. Thus far, they have surpassed their goal of 10,000 supporters- but lets keep those e-signatures coming!

Charity Autograph Fundraiser

One Tree Hill and the Wilmington Police Recreation Association are both working together to raise money for the Officer Down Memorial Wall Project.
